We continued to look at the causes of the Great Depression and FDR and the New Deal today. We finished watching the video "The Great Depression and the New Deal" today as well as a video from the BBC 20th Century History series called "FDR and the New Deal". Please go directly to Room 121 tomorrow so we can start watching "The Grapes of Wrath".

We watched "Shouting Fire" today in class which looks at controversies in the United States centering around the freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to peaceable assembly, in other words, the First Amendment in the U.S. Bill of Rights. Your Trial Final is tomorrow.
