Today was another busy day. I went through a PowerPoint presentation called "Challenges and Opportunities of Globalization" that covers material from Chapter 4 and 5. I have sent this PowerPoint presentation to your e-mail accounts, so please check your e-mail. We watched "Bend It Like Beckham" and completed a film study that is due tomorrow. After the break we finished "Bend It Like Beckham" and I gave you some time to work on your Chapter 4 Key Terms and Questions that are due tomorrow.
Upcoming Important Dates:
- Chapter 4 Key Terms and Questions are due tomorrow (Wednesday, July 7th)
- "Bend It Like Beckham" Film Study is due tomorrow as well
- Chapter 3-4 Quiz (key terms quiz, matching format) is on Wednesday, July 7th (no study guide, just study the Chapter 3 and 4 key terms from the worksheets and you'll be fine)
- Chapter 5-6 Quiz is on Thursday, July 8th (sorry, again, no study guide)
- Unit 1 In-Class Writing Assignment is on Thursday, July 8th
- Unit 1 Final Exam is on Thursday, July 8th
Unit 1 Final Exam Study Guide:
The Unit 1 Final Exam is on Thursday, July 8th. It consists of 25 multiple choice questions. Here is what you should review:
