I went through a quick self-introduction and talked a little bit about what to expect over the course of this semester. I gave you a list of key dates (exams, tests, quizzes, essays and writing assignments) that you should have written into your agenda or notes. I went through the course outline and academic integrity policy as well. Please check the classroom rules and expectations of behavior and rules for posting on the blog. These classroom rules can be found on the blog in yesterday's post. Your homework assignment tonight is writing a friendly letter addressed to me in which you tell me a little bit about yourself (family, extracurricular activities, sports, TV shows that you like, movies, musical interests) just so I get a sense of who you are as a person and what your goals might be for this semester. The friendly letter is due tomorrow, and it can be hand written or typed.
